[2024시카고 하나장로교회 “DEAN” 장학생 선발]

시카고 하나장로교회는 'DEAN' 장학 프로그램을 통해 자격을 갖춘 풀타임 학생들이 학업목표를 달성할 수 있도록 교육비를 지원하고자 합니다. 이 장학금을 통해 시카고 하나장로교회는 지원자들 뿐만 아니라 Illinois 와 주변 지역 사회에 하나님의 복이 전해지길 소망합니다. 시카고 하나장로교회 'Dean' 장학금의 수여 자격은 지원자의 재정적 필요, 자기 소개서, 에세이, 그리고 학업 성적에 따라 결정됩니다.

신청대상:
1. 고등학교 졸업생: 졸업하는 고등학생중 2년제 또는 4년제 대학에 Full-time으로 등록한 학생
2. 대학생: 4년제 대학에 재학중인 1,2,3 학년 Full-time 학생 (4학년은 제외), 2년제 대학에 재학중인 학생중 4년제 대학에 편입하는 학생
3. 재정적 필요를 입증해야 합니다. 지원자는 현재 재정 상황에 대한 간략한 설명과 이 필요 장학금을 신청하는 이유를 제공해야 합니다.
장학금액: 졸업반 고등학생과 대학생 (1인당 $1,000.00)
접수기간: 2023년12월 30일 – 2024년2월 29일
지원방법: 온라인 접수 www.hahnachurch.org/scholarship (우편접수 불가)
수여공지:장학생으로 선발되시는 분들께는 2024년 3월 7일에 이메일을 통해 개별 통보될 예정
시상: 현금 시상은2024년 3월 17일에 하나교회에서 진행됩니다.

“DEAN” Scholarship 

Hahna Korean Presbyterian Church has established a scholarship program to help qualified full-time students achieve their academic goals by offering financial assistance for their educational expenses. Through this scholarship, Hahna Korean Presbyterian Church aims to use its blessings to be a blessing to its members as well as surrounding communities. Qualifications for the “DEAN” Scholarship will be based on the student’s financial need, personal statement, and written responses to essay prompts, reference/ recommendations, and a good academic standing.

Applicant Qualification:
1. Graduating High School Seniors: Graduating seniors from high schools, who are expected to enroll as full-time students for the 2024-25 academic year either in a Community College or 4-year College.
2. College Students: Freshman/Sophomores/Juniors/Seniors, who are currently enrolled in a degree program, and who are in good academic standing (GPA > 2.7)
3. Must demonstrate financial need. A brief explanation of your current financial situation and reason for why you are applying for this need-based scholarship must be provided by the applicant.
4. Scholarship Amount: $1,000.00 per student
Application Period: Dec 30, 2023 – Feb 29, 2024
Application Method: Online at www.hahnachurch.org/scholarship (no mails please)
Award Notification: The selected students will be notified by March 7 , 2024, via email.
Award: The cash award will be on March 17 , 2024 at Hahna Church.
